Head Trainer/Owner - Crystal Kroetch

Crystal Kroetch is a top FEI level trainer who has enjoyed many successes competing at Grand Prix in North America. Crystal owns Carousel Stables in Calgary, Alberta and provides dressage training, top quality sale horses competing from Basic to Grand Prix and coaching to the competitive dressage rider locally as well as clinics around Canada and the US.

Carousel Stables is located in the prestigious Bearspaw area in view of the Rocky Mountains, an easy 20 minute drive from the Calgary International Airport. Crystal has been running Carousel Stables for the past 11 years and during that time she has produced countless champions in the dressage ring and helped many clients find the horse of their dreams.

Crystal lives on the farm with her husband Dan and their two sons; Cory and Denim.

Master Saddle Fitter - Danny Kroetch

Dan is a Master Saddle Fitter who travels widely throughout North America, Europe and Asia conducting saddle fitting clinics and giving lectures on proper fitting of saddles. A properly fitted saddle enhances the performance of both the horse and the rider.

Dan has the reputation of being able to fit the most difficult horses and his specialty lies in his ability to help those horses that are experiencing pain from their existing saddles. His business DK Saddlery now builds and fits saddles for numerous top riders and Olympians from several different countries including the USA, Canada, Germany, Holland etc...

Assistant Trainer - Janet Hambly-Adams

Janet trains and coaches full time at Carousel Stables, and has her EC Level 2 coaching. The knowledge she has gained from Crystal and Albrecht Hiedemann, and from riding the wonderful horse Hy Tec, has been invaluable. Janet competed at the North American Young Rider Championships in 2003 and her goal is to train and ride to the Grand Prix Level, and represent Canada internationally.

Janet recently bought a 4-yr-old Hanoverian gelding by the stallion Wonderful who she is excited to ride in the 2008 competitive season. The gelding, Wavada, was shown by Crystal in 2007 earning an 87% in the FEI 4-yr-old test.

Janet and husband Tim, have recently expanded their family with the addition of son, Colby, born October 12, 2007.

Clinician - Albrecht Heidemann

Mr. Heidemann had been on the Gold medal winning German Young Rider Team for several years at the time when Schumacher was the Trainer. Mr. Heidemann also worked under Josef Neckermann (Eva Maria Pracht's father) and under Schumacher to gain his Bereiter level as a trainer. Following time spent coaching in the USA, where Mr. Heidemann became absolutely fluent in English, he returned to Germany and has assisted Mr. Schumacher with coaching in Germany, Mexico and Ireland, as well as making regular visits to the USA.

Clinician - Ger Geertsen

Ger Geertsen has been training dressage horses and riders since 1971. He owns a secluded establishment, Dressuurstal de Boswei, situated in the deep woods of central Holland near Utrecht. His unique approach and unrivaled understanding of horses has enabled him to deal with all levels of horse and rider from Novice to Grand Prix. In particular, he is well-known for his ability to correct and retrain dressage horses (and those from other disciplines) that have proved unmanageable in other hands. His pupils come from all branches of equestrianism, primarily dressage, and he numbers among his students several riders who are competing successfully at the highest level.
